Our Manawatu based client, known as a reliable producer of high quality products has been manufacturing & exporting their products to markets around the world for more than fifty years. In addition to supplying the global pharmaceutical industry, they also manufacture natural extracts and a range of biochemicals to the international health food, cosmetic, biotechnology and aquaculture industries.

**The Role**:
As a Quality Control Laboratory Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality team, using your chemistry knowledge to help the organisation meet their commitment to quality.

Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out timely quality control testing and analysis of starting materials, intermediates and finished products. In addition to testing, you will be required to prepare batch documentation and records for product release and perform monitoring programmes and laboratory equipment qualifications.

**The Person**:
We are looking for applicants who are BSc Chemistry graduates or with proven experience working as a Chemistry Laboratory Technician. It is important that applicants can accurately execute a range of analytical techniques such as wet chemistry and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), whilst diligently completing traceable documentation to GMP standards.
