**About the role**
As Commercial Partner you will work with our customer and delivery teams to consistently deliver value for Vector and our customers. You’ll bring your experience of good practice to efficiently manage cost and risk, with open and frequent stakeholder engagement to improve commercial capability.

You’ll ensure that contracts, engagement models and processes appropriately reflect Vector’s commercial and behavioural intent by advocating for, and applying, a plain English style that is focused on delivering outcomes.

You’ll also play a key role in driving continuous improvement in performance by Vector and its service providers.

This is an exciting role within Vector that bridges two critical business functions, customer and delivery. You’ll be working with teams contracting for the delivery of electricity infrastructure to Vector customers, and taking delivery of services from electrical contractors, engineering consultants and equipment suppliers. Your supplier and customer hats will help you to maintain the perspective needed to deliver strategic change as well as quick wins.

**Who we are looking for**
- You’ll have a depth of experience in a legal, commercial advisory or similar role, with recent experience working in or advising the infrastructure sector
- You’ll be adept at drafting, reviewing and negotiating service contracts, delivering high quality outcomes that efficiently balance time and resource whilst managing risk
- You’ll be effective prioritising a busy workload and managing multiple (sometimes competing) stakeholder interests and priorities
- You’ll have strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to your audience.
