**Purchasing and Logistics Assistant - 6 months**:

**About the role**:
As a **Purchasing and Logistics Assistant**, you will join our logistics department for 6 months. Working as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment, you will be involved with a multitude of different projects to maintain an effective supplier management system, an efficient and effective warehouse and distribution facility as well as maintenance of the inventory levels on a national basis.

Principal areas of work will include:

- Purchasing
- Goods receipts and issues (distribution)
- Goods storage and warehousing
- Logistics
- Inventory Management
- Controlling and Reporting
- Quality Assurance
- Health and safety
- Office admin tasks
- Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisor and dept head

**What we are looking for**:

- Forklift License is preferred
- Have a minimum of 1 years purchasing or/and freight and/product warranty experience ideally in the industrial, construction or engineering industries
- Excellent data entry and computer skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Attention to detail - excellent organizational/time management skills.
- Experience in working with SAP would be desirable
- A great attitude, sense of humor, and can adapt quickly in a fast pace environment
