**Job Description** Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
The Health Systems section of the School of Population Health, based on the University of Auckland Medical and Health Sciences Campus (Grafton) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced **Professional Teaching Fellow** to contribute to undergraduate teaching within the section and the School.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Development of tutorial content within assigned courses, as required.
- Contribution to course content and assessment design.
- Identify tutorial staff and lead on supporting tutors in delivering tutorial material. Coordinate marking meetings for assignments, coordinate guest lectures and course timetable and contribute to moderation of all assessments.
- Manage relationships with the tutorial staff team and provide training for their development, including peer observation.
- As course coordinator, respond to student queries in a timely manner.
- Contribute towards the Section and School responses to Taumata Teitei, and development of new and/or modification of existing courses within degree programmes.
This is a **part-time** (30 hours per week), **permanent** opportunity.
The remuneration is PTF 1 $100,696 - PTF 2 $111,297, pro-rata.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A postgraduate degree in population health, public health, health systems, or related area.
- University-level tutoring and teaching experience.
- Excellent organisational skills and time-management skills.
- Excellent relational and communication skills.
