This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and further develop your skills within an existing team of experienced practitioners.Working collaboratively across Waka Kotahi, you will help reduce risk and ensure compliance through monitoring, and reviewing commercial transport operators. This is an important and varied role and you will be kept busy meeting transport operators, gathering information, writing reports and analysing data to inform decisions.Although you will be based in Christchurch, travel is a key part of this role, and you will be regularly engaging with operators across the upper South Island. You must have a full driver license, with no convictions.Your positive outlook and savvy interpersonal skills will be your greatest asset as you meet with and influence business owners, safety managers, truck drivers and others to improve safety outcomes.
