The Verification Manager role is part of a global network that supports immigration decision-making. Leading a team of Verification Officers who provide quality risk and verification advice, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure expert advice supports quality decisions.

You will maintain close relationships with risk and verification colleagues on and offshore to ensure optimal business outcomes and appropriate management of emerging and near-term risk. Demonstrating and managing health, safety, and wellbeing for a team of front-facing field workers will be a core focus of the role.

- Proven experience leading people or teams in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with ensuring, and reporting on, compliance with internal management controls
- Managing health, safety and wellbeing risks, particularly in relation to field facing people and teams.
- Excellent knowledge of INZ processes and best practice or similar relevant experience
- Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to quickly establish and build strong working relationships
- Experience ensuring quality processes and implementing strategies designed to improve service delivery and excellence.
- The ability to coach others to replicate your own sound judgement and ability to turn analysis into easily understood written products using well-developed research and writing skills.
- A sound understanding of risk management principles and experience in identifying and mitigating actual and potential risks.
