They have worked on many large and exciting projects recently including Christchurch Convention Centre, Southland Stadium and Forsythe Barr Stadium.

**About the role**:

- Utilise Tekla software to create detailed 3D models, shop drawings, and fabrication plans for structural steel projects.
- Lead and manage a team of 2 other detailers
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and ensure accurate representation in the steel detailing.
- Generate accurate bills of materials (BOMs) and cutting lists for procurement and fabrication purposes.
- Conduct thorough quality checks on all steel detailing work to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Identify and resolve clashes or conflicts in the design through proactive coordination with other project stakeholders.

**About you**:

- Excellent knowledge of Tekla Structures CAD software
- Be well organised and have a high attention to detail
- Previous experience working in a drawing or detailing office in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of NZS 3404 would be advantages.
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- An understanding of steel estimation, site surveying and measuring.
- Have a positive attitude & ability to deal with various personalities.
- Excellent communication skills and ideally experience working in a leadership capacity
