Have you worked in a purchasing or parts adviser capacity and are in between roles?
Our client is looking for a temp to start asap whilst they are searching for their next permanent staff member.
This is a stand alone role which is fast paced and requires the highest level of attention to detail. MS Suite will be a breeze for you to use and ideally you will have used ERP systems.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- Processing new jobs and purchasing all required materials
- Liaising with suppliers to confirm pricing of parts, status of current orders and any other information that is required for the purchasing of materials
- Maintaining part/vendor information in the ERP system
- Sourcing suppliers for new items
- Ordering inventory materials based on MRP reporting
- Data entry
To be successful you will have:
- Competence using Microsoft Office
- Previous purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
- An outgoing, friendly personality
- Strong people skills
- A sense of urgency with good organizational skills
