**About Our Client**
We are currently seeking individuals to join our client's team Youth Alcohol and Drug Service. Our client is a pioneering service committed to assisting young individuals and their significant others who seek guidance regarding alcohol and other drug-related concerns. They are dedicated to raising clinical practice standards and fostering the growth of their esteemed team.

**About the Role**
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential support and empowerment to young individuals and their families, all within a harm reduction framework through innovative service delivery. Your mission will involve enhancing communication and collaboration between Te Whatu Ora Waitemat, key stakeholders, and the individuals who rely on the services.

**About You**
Joining a vibrant team of skilled clinicians, your passion and expertise in the field will be paramount. Your enthusiasm for the well-being of the youth you engage with will drive your success in this role.

**Essential Requirements**
- A recognised health-related tertiary qualification
- **Full or provisional registration with a relevant professional body (dapaanz, nursing, social work, counseling, or related fields) New Zealand registration is a must**:

- Relevant experience working with young individuals and their families / whnau
- Proficiency in harm reduction concepts and evidence-based AOD interventions
- Experience in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and goal setting related to substance use and mental health concerns
- Ability to foster and maintain effective therapeutic and professional relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to integrate Te Tiriti O Waitangi principles into your daily work
- Valid driver's license

**Preferred Skills**
- Familiarity with health and social services
- Proficiency in counseling and the ability to lead evening group sessions if required
- Relevant postgraduate health or education-related tertiary qualification
- Training in family support work
