**Who we are**

Pact is a major provider of community-based mental health and addictions services across Southland, Otago, West Coast and the Lower North Island. The Pact Youth Services are known to go the extra mile in supporting young people (aged 10-24) to achieve their goals. Our Youth Upper Hutt Service provides works with Rangatahi to reintegrate them into community and support them to live their best independent lives.

**The Role**

In this role you will work closely with the Service Coordinator to develop care plans for our rangatahi, liaise with specialist mental health providers and other social services and advise and educate our support team where necessary. Making clinical recommendations and assisting with the management of ongoing therapeutic interventions and the risks attached to this is an essential component of the role. You will also coordinate care and treatment plans for rangatahi engaged with our other Pact services where appropriate.

Pact is a growing NGO who already employs a number of registered health professionals who are practicing in various settings. **You will**:
*Have excellent time management skills with a strong ability to priorities multiple tasks on the go *Have strong communication and networking skills *Also have excellent stakeholder engagement skills building sustainable relationships with our internal and external parties which include tangata whaiora, whanau, wider staff and other govt agencies *Have a good level of cultural confidence and competency and the ability to navigate within these settings

Desired Skills and Experience

*Be a Registered Health Professional with a current practicing certificate (Social Worker, Registered Nurse, Psychologist, Psychotherapist, Occupational Therapist, DAPAANZ Addictions Practitioner) *Have experience in mental health and drug assessments and treatment *A full clean drivers licence and computer skills are essential *Must complete vulnerable children vetting check and clear criminal check
