Te tūnga | The role
We have a 12 month fixed term, full-time opportunity for an administrator to provide administrative support to the Forensic team, based at our Mount Albert Science Centre in Auckland. This role will require flexibility and commitment to be rostered on between 8:00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
**In this role you will be involved in**:
- Receipt, processing, return and transfer of laboratory submissions,
- Providing timely and accurate data entry and support management services,
- Ensuring excellent customer and client services for internal and external groups,
- Document management, formatting, and record keeping,
- Provision of general administration support to the business unit as required.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Previous experience in an administrative or front-facing reception role,
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills,
- Competence in the use of computers, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database packages,
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable interacting with a wide range to stakeholders,
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to plan, organise and make effective use of time to achieve key tasks and meet deadlines consistently,
- A commitment to the rostered hours.
