Have you thought about a rewarding move to the Education sector?

We are looking for creative and driven marketing and outreach professionals to join the University of Canterbury (UC) Marketing team and work particularly with the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science, and Graduate School. We have multiple exciting opportunities available to either lead the marketing or outreach function in these faculties. As a core aspect of these roles, you'll provide strategic and operational advice to the faculty leadership team and collaboratively create and implement the Marketing and Recruitment plan.

Being part of the Faculty Marketing team means you'll play a vital role in showcasing the groundbreaking work of our academics and promote our programmes to increase student enrolments, from undergraduate through to doctorate. While you are part of the wider UC Marketing team, you'll be closely connected within the faculties, engaging with core staff and academics to be able to provide the best marketing and outreach support.

**Marketing Partner**: We have exciting opportunities available to be a Marketing Partner in either the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science, or Graduate School. In these roles you will lead the marketing function in the faculty, while supporting the outreach activities. You will have experience in creating and implementing successful marketing campaigns and have excellent stakeholder management skills.

**Marketing and Outreach Partner**: If you love interacting with new people daily and excel at organising events, the Marketing and Outreach Partner could be for you. This role leads the Outreach activity in the Faculty of Science, which includes organising and leading student camps like the Elaine P. Snowdon Astronomy School or Summer Science Camp. You will have outreach or events experience and excellent problem-solving skills.

**Mōu | Who You Are**
- Experience in development and implementation of marketing plans.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of/experience in working with advertising agencies.
- Experience in organising events or engagement activities is an advantage.
- Experience in organising events from start to finish.
- Ability to develop and manage relationships with a range of people from different backgrounds - particularly those in Māori and Pacific communities.
- Proven ability to solve problems and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Experience in creating marketing campaigns is an advantage.

In addition to the above we require these skills across all roles:

- Excellent written communications skills, including copywriting skills.
- Experience in creating content for a variety of platforms.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Appreciation of multi-cultural issues, the Treaty of Waitangi, gender and equity issues.

While being part of the wider UC Marketing team, you will work closely with the dynamic and friendly teams of Te Kaupeka Pūhanga | Faculty of Engineering, Te Kaupeka Pūtaiao | Faculty of Science, and Te Kura Tāura | UC Graduate School. You will be entering a successful & collaborative work environment with Supportive Teams to assist you along your journey.
