We are seeking a capable and reliable professional to join this Christchurch Hotel in the Porter role for two day shifts & two nights a week (four shifts of 10 hours per shift, with three rostered days off). You will be passionate about customer services and the opportunity to work within this close-knit team of professionals. You will also need excellent written and verbal communication skills and take immense pride in your work.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you along with the front office team will be the face of this busy hotel.

Responsibilities include:

- Deliver excellent customer service, at all times, ensuring guest comfort, safety & privacy
- Must be able to work two day shifts and two night shifts per week
- Previous experience in food and beverage service or guest services would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of personal presentation

You will ensure a positive guest experience by being on hand to deal with enquiries throughout your shift, explain hotel facilities and anticipate guest needs. Other responsibilities include some hotel cleaning, delivery of room service orders and assisting to both guests and hotel needs, where required.
