About this role
Ballantynes are seeking a Kitchen Porter to provide support to the Tearooms Kitchen team throughout the day. Duties will include assisting with basic food preparation, filling and emptying of dishwasher and checking and putting away deliveries.

This is a great opportunity for you to further develop your skills and experience in a variety of tasks in a busy kitchen environment.

There will also be the opportunity to gain further experience in our Kin - Bistro and Wine Bar.

This is a permanent part time opportunity with no late nights, minimum of 16 hours.

  • Experience as a Kitchen Porter or similar role
  • Basic food preparations skills is an advantage but not essential
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good time management skills
  • High standard of presentation skills and hygiene standards
  • Strong communication skills
  • Understanding of Food Safety Practice
