We are seeking a physically capable, responsible and reliable professional to join this contemporary Christchurch Hotel, in a Hotel Porter role.

You will be passionate about guest customer services, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for guest arrivals and remaining calm and courteous while attending to guest needs during their stay.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within this close-knit team of professionals dedicated to exceeding customers' expectations.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be responsible for helping to oversee daily operations of this charming hotel and provide assistance as required to the Food & Beverage, Housekeeping and Maintenace departments.

Key duties;
- Provide a positive guest experience ensuring guest comfort, safety & privacy.
- Attend to guests' luggage and personal items on hotel arrival and checkout.
- Assist with providing up to date information on local activities, places of interest and services.
- Provide assistance in all areas of the hotel operational services.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, reporting on any security or maintenance concerns.

You will be required to;
- Work shifts on a Monday - Sunday roster, 7am - 11pm & Public Holidays as required.
- Be available to cover Night Porter shifts in the absence of the Night Porter.
- Provide a full Driver's license to drive the Hotel courtesy shuttle.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Display a high level of professional personal presentation.
- This role is based in a Christchurch and is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours), paying $26/hour + Uniforms + Company Benefits.
