Due to further business growth, we have an opportunity for a Service Engineer to become a part of our team in Auckland working on Medical Equipment.

**About the role**:
The role will involve extensive travel and is part of the North Island regional team. The travel component of the role is on-demand supporting our customers from Whangarei, Hamilton, Tauranga, Whakatane, Rotorua, Taupo and New Plymouth.

This role may require travel to other NZ areas including the occasional overnight stay.

**Essential requirements**:

- EST electrical practicing license
- Mechanical or Electrical trade qualifications
- Good fault-finding skills
- Proven mechanical skills
- Must be self-directed and have excellent organisational skills
- Responsibility to service and repair all equipment in a timely manner ensuring customer satisfaction
- A positive “can do” attitude with great communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build and maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders
- The ability to work autonomously, and as part of a team
- A clear understanding of what it means to “own the outcome”
- Immediate NZ work rights
- Clean and full NZ driver license

**Preferably you will have**:

- Previous experience as a field service engineer or technician, especially in the medical area
- Technical troubleshooting background ideally both electrical and mechanical side
- Validation experience and report writing
