The Jacobs Planning and Environmental Approvals team delivers complex and technically challenging local and national projects for clients involved in a wide range of infrastructure and development activities, including public utilities, large-scale environmental initiatives, renewable energy projects, transport infrastructure, resources and energy projects and large scale environmental management programs. We are seeking an experienced **Environmental Planner** to join our **Auckland** based Planning and Environmental Approvals team. Primary responsibilities will include supporting the delivery of planning and consenting projects, often working collaboratively with a range of disciplines; contributing to our award winning strategies through working alongside our sales team, develop and implement consenting strategies, and work with industry leaders in planning and consenting.

**Here’s what you’ll need**:

- Tertiary qualification in planning or other relevant degree is essential
- Demonstrated success in preparing and obtaining resource consents and related planning approvals, including notices Notices of requirement Requirement
- An interest in infrastructure
- Ability to work individually and as part of a wider collaborative team
- Business acumen
- Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills
- Excellent report writing abilities
