About the role
Due to team movement, we now have a great opportunity for a Senior Business Advisor to join our Performance Systems team within WorkSafe's Corporate group. Our Corporate group is on a transformation journey, and this is a great opportunity for a skilled Senior Advisor to shape this role and guide the organisation in its vision in ensuring all New Zealanders return home from work healthy and safe.
As a Senior Business Advisor, you will support the operations of the team and be responsible for providing advice and services to connect strategic planning and reporting to teams across the organisation.
You will be joining a small, tight knit, collaborative team providing a centre of expertise for the organisation in the delivery of planning and performance reporting. Working as part of this small team you will have the opportunity to be involved in varied work and broaden your experience in other areas.

**In this role, you will**:

- Provide planning and performance expertise and advice across the organisation
- Develop and improve tools, templates, processes, and documentation
- Contribute to the delivery of accountability documents and external reporting requirements
- Develop and maintain WorkSafe's performance frameworks, measurement database and data dictionary to ensure they align with outcomes.

**To be successful, you will bring**:

- An ability to quickly assimilate new information to come to an understanding of unfamiliar and complex issues
- Proven ability to think strategically, develop frameworks, and manage organisation-wide systems and processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A willingness to share expertise with others in the team to build capability
- Planning and performance experience within public sector (preferable but not essential)

Salary range
Our expected starting base salary for the right person is from $119,536 to $130.000. Note: KiwiSaver/SSRSS employer contribution is additional to/on top of your base salary.
