**YOUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELL**
The Account Manager champions the implementation of all projects across the agency. They are the linchpin of the team ensuring all projects are delivered in a timely manner in alignment with the client's brand and business objectives working to connect all areas of expertise across VML. They handle the day-to-day operations of agency projects, including research, scope development and project execution. In this role, you will implement work from beginning to end whilst fostering relationships with clients and the agency team.
The projects that the Account Manager works on are varied and immensely interesting, including multi-media campaigns, behaviour change campaigns, brand development, and all sorts of other cool stuff.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for the day-to-day implementation of project deliverables and ensures these deliverables are ready for client presentation/approval
- Works in conjunction with agency resourcing to ensure projects are scheduled and delivered in a timely manner
- Ensures conference reports and/or meeting notes are completed and distributed to clients and all relevant stakeholders
- Initiates/drafts scope documents and works with team to secure client approval
- Helps manage briefs and debriefs in conjunction with the Account Director or Group Account Director
- Initiates projects within the agency, following agency processes and systems
- Collaborates with other agency partners to ensure goals and deadlines are met
- Builds financial management skills, including preparation of billing and monthly projections in conjunction with the Account Director or Group Account Director
- Actively participates in key client meetings and VML presentations
- Proactively seeks and sustains knowledge of client's business, industry and competition
**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/CAPABILITIES**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
- Strong communication skills & attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Problem solving ability
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) skills. Keynote skills desirable
- Passion for marketing and advertising
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience in an agency or marketing environment is desirable but not essential
