**Te āheinga: The opportunity**
As an Art Lecturer, you will provide quality educational outcomes in Art for ākonga studying in the Level 3 and Level 4 Bridging Education Certificates. Bridgepoint's Kaupapa is to 'create pathways to success' for all our ākonga. Our role is to provide our ākonga with access and opportunity to develop real and authentic learning pathways that staircase them into higher education and ultimately employment. To achieve this, learning is highly contextual and collaborative across the learning programs that they study in.
- Approximately half our ākonga (learners) in Bridgepoint are Māori/Pacific. Experience working within diverse communities and an ability to relate to, and engage with, tauira Māori and Pacific is essential. _
This is a part-time role, working 11.25 hours per week.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**
You'll have:
- An understanding or desire to learn te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, and the values and practices of kaupapa Māori
- Evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces/environments
- Strong student-centered focus with an interest in working with neurodiverse learners
- Experience in teaching ākonga in the tertiary/secondary sector
- Experience in developing innovative and contextualised programs or courses
- A positive and flexible approach to problem-solving in the work environment
- Team player with a positive can-do attitude and a willingness to collaborate
- Knowledge of relevant software packages Microsoft office/ Moodle and a willingness to learn new technology
- A reflective practitioner committed to continuous improvement and growth
