**About the role**:

- Represent a wide range of high-quality products within the territory of Canterbury, West Coast and Blenheim
- Manage and develop a varied customer base that includes distributors, builders, specifiers and applicators
- Find and secure specifications for large commercial projects as well as drive distribution sales within your territory - capitalising on all opportunities
- Assist in resolving customer complaints, minimising any risk to the brand
- Involvement in the full range of selling activities, from key account management, new business development, product training and territory management

**About you**:

- You’ve been in a sales role that consists of both account management and new business development
- You must have had product exposure to either flooring, adhesives, waterproofing, leveling compounds or similar, from either a sales or trade based capacity
- You have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs
- You have the ability to relate to a wide range of customers, comfortable presenting from boardrooms through to visiting construction sites
- Must have the ability to travel as required including overnights (approximately 3-4 nights per month)
