Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role
The Operations Manager leads teams of people to deliver world class public housing to Kāinga Ora's customers. They are responsible for leading and supporting local tenancy and property teams, ensuring that national frameworks and approaches are applied consistently, and resolving issues that have been escalated to them.
You will contribute to national and inter-regional processes to improve services and practices to ensure that customer placement, support, re-housing, asset and maintenance teams adhere to national practices and frameworks.

**Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring**:

- Demonstrated experience leading high achieving and empathetic operational teams at a senior level, with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to fairly balance competing priorities and interests and make timely decisions to support issue resolution.
- A proven track record of managing a number of high performing operational groups through change.
- Knowledge of local, regional and national supports to manage tenancies effectively, as well as a sound understanding of tenancy and property management functions in a social housing context.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Understanding of public sector structure, governance, processes and systems.
