About the role
Are you looking to develop and enhance your leadership and management skills? Do you want to take on a challenging yet rewarding role, which will make a meaningful contribution to the New Zealand justice sector? The Police Prosecution Service (PPS) is looking for a suitably qualified highly motivated individual to join our leadership team as the Regional Manager for the Northern region. This role is based in Tamaki Makaurau but will require travel from time to time. This is an exciting PPS region, experiencing transformation with opportunities to make a real difference through meaningful leadership.

To be successful in this role you will need to display excellent communication and relationship management skills, and have the ability to make sound reasoned decisions. This role offers an opportunity unlike any other to step into a pivotal role that will enable you to play a part in the transformation and advancement of a future-focused work group - connecting strongly with both the District, the wider justice sector and our communities.

A critical component of this role is collaborating with external partners in order to champion sector wide strategies that will be accepted and implemented by the whole of the justice sector, ultimately leading to a transformational service delivery model.

As part of the PPS Leadership Team, you will be contributing to initiatives and strategies, to address and enhance current operating approaches and sector outcomes.

Ultimately, you will be a champion for cultural change, standing on our PRIMED values and our Kaupapa commitment as pillars for strategic decision-making in our justice sector. We want you to build and lead high performing, diverse teams into an integrated approach to policing, aligned with the Commissioner’s priorities.

**Key Accountabilities**:
