Our client is a strong freight forwarder in the importation of case and bulk goods globally predominantly to the USA, UK and Australian markets via LCL and FCL.

**About the role**
Can you describe yourself as resourceful, self-motivated, determined and ambitious?

Someone who enjoys the adrenaline rush of conquering new business and global networking?

This role requires someone who is results-oriented & is able to identify and qualify opportunities. It is paramount that you have good knowledge of supply chain & logistics, freight forwarding and shipping processes.

In this role you need to be able to use your networking skills and the ability to build collaborative partnerships with diverse groups of clients and colleagues.

**Some of your key responsibilities will be**
- Grow volume & profitability with goal to overall exceed budget expectations and increase company market share
- Implement sales and marketing activities & maintain relationships with customers including managing end-to-end business development processes; and introduce new product & service innovations.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Strong experience in international freight sales
- Cost comprehension, understanding of market levels/influences/margins
- Strong negotiating skills
