Our Digital Engineering team is busy with exciting new and existing projects across a variety of sectors nationwide. We are on the hunt for senior Digital Modellers / Designers, who can hit the ground running and help deliver our client's innovative digital solutions, using our digital engineering skill sets.

We are looking for a full-time Digital Modeller (3D) / Designer within the horizontal infrastructure space to join our Digital Engineering team.

Ko Ngā Haepapa Matua | Key Responsibilities
- Understanding and reviewing project Modelling & Drawing production budgets
- Preparation and/or review of the scope of project modelling requirements
- Sourcing and/or preparing of engineering data (i.e. survey data) for use in Digital Deliverables
- Preparation and delivery of high-quality, technically accurate and fit for purpose 3D Models and/or other digital deliverables
- Ensure digital deliverables comply with to professional standards & Tonkin + Taylor relevant quality procedures and/or Client requirements by organising relevant quality procedures checks
- Calculate quantities, specification, and their implications for technical aspects of designs.
- Understand project timelines and deliverables to ensure drawing production is on-time, providing feedback to internal or external clients when required
- High degree of understanding of Modelling software functions and tools

Na tōu rourou | What you'll bring
- Strong technical knowledge and capability in either 12d Model, Civil 3D, InfraWorks, Revit or AutoCAD
- Experience using Data Management Systems: i.e., 12d Synergy, BIM360
- Understanding of AU/NZ Civil Engineering standards and practices
- Understanding of AU/NZ BIM processes and standards i.e., ISO 19650
- A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering i.e., Diploma in Civil Engineering or similar
- A genuine enthusiasm for BIM/Digital Engineering and the benefits it can provide our clients
- A self-motivated, critical thinking/problem-solving mindset
- A drive for innovation and working smarter
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with multiple teams
- 5+ years of experience in design or construction
