Role Summary
As a Real-Time Rendering Research Engineer at Weta Digital, you will be responsible for researching and implementing the latest graphics technologies and techniques to enhance rendering capabilities. You will design a highly performant and robust real-time rendering architecture that scales to complex production demands. Additionally, you will maintain a custom Graphics Rendering API for Vulkan and OpenGL, support existing software, and collaborate with various departments to develop and maintain interacting software. If you have a solid understanding of past and current real-time rendering techniques, experience with modern OpenGL and Vulkan, and familiarity with physically based shading models, we encourage you to apply for this role.
