Design Manager

HEB Precast is a Division of HEB Construction Ltd which is a significant player in the heavy civil and structures business and a leader in the construction of New Zealand infrastructure. The business provides a range of products and services to complement its core offering such as subdivisions, roading, bridges, marine construction. The Precast Division of HEB Construction Ltd operates Bay of Plenty / Te Puke.
Reporting to the Precast manager, the primary purpose of this position is to manage all precast projects; project manage design, drawings and assist production team to complete projects on time. This role supervises the internal and external draughting teams, along with communication with project and site teams /clients.
Preferred skills and experience:
- Civil Engineering Tertiary level Qualification
- Auto cad experience
- Experience form working in the industry or construction
- Sound knowledge of precast and prestressed concrete
- Competency and experience using Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Current clean, full Class 1 driver licence
