This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.
The remuneration range for this role is $94,136 to $132,898 (including KiwiSaver) depending on skills and experience.
The opportunity
The purpose of the Senior Advisor Service Delivery (NMG) position is to establish and lead an operational improvement programme for the treatment plants that are managed in house. This includes building organisation wide networks to ensure other functions across the organisation are effectively supporting the operations and maintenance of treatment plants and acting as the liaison between treatment plants and other functional groups to ensure support delivered is fit for purpose. You will also support the Manager, Treatment with day-to-day operational decisions and guidance across the team.
The operational improvement programme covers our four potable water treatment plants and key reservoirs and pump stations based in Wellington Region, four potable water treatment plants and key reservoirs based in Southern Wairarapa Region and four wastewater treatment plants and key pump stations based in Southern Wairarapa Region and any emergency management service related to treatment.It is expected that the Senior Advisor Service Delivery will work directly and collaboratively with operators and managers located in both the Greater Wellington and South Wairarapa areas.
About you

**To be successful in this role you will bring the following**:

- Significant experience in a relevant engineering or planning environment, ideally treatment plants
- Experience working in a collective and collaborative leadership environment
- Familiarity with engineering planning and processes
- An understanding of infrastructure commissioning
- Knowledge of workflows, how to identify and define issues and create and implement solutions
- A strategic, logical, and planning mindset
- The ability to translate technical requirements into practical and realistic solutions
- Strong relationship building skills with the ability to influence
- Excellent planning skills, ability to be well organised and work in a structured way
- Adaptability to work as part of a team and as an individual
- Full driver's licence for car
- A qualification in engineering, planning or other relevant area
