We have an opportunity for a Senior Human Resources practitioner who will join our team as a People Partner (Senior HR Manager) based at our Head office, located in the heart of the city.

**About the mahi**

Working under the direction of the Country HR Lead, the role will see the person contribute to the execution of global, regional, and local strategic people initiatives within the New Zealand Firm, with the goal of creating an optimal employee experience and ensuring better client outcomes.

Your main accountabilities would include:

- Co-delivering the agreed strategic people initiatives for the New Zealand Firm.
- Functioning as a key and trusted thought leader to senior managers, including members of the Executive leadership team.
- Overseeing the execution of annual people calendar, such as performance planning, talent reviews and succession planning, performance evaluation and the NZ’s compensation cycle.
- Contributing to the development and execution of organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participating in and contributing to the bi-weekly APAC People Organisation forum.
- Functioning as a champion for the comprehensive suite of people solutions for the NZ Firm and collaborating with our Centres of Excellence within the regional People Organisation function.
- Co-delivering initiatives that continue to provide a safe and inclusive working environment, for our one thousand employees.

**The skills, experience and leadership competencies that will ensure role success.**
- Proven commercial HR experience, preferably within a professional services environment or a similar, highly regulated environment.
- Knowing what ‘good’ looks like, and a willingness to bring new ideas and experiences, to the table.
- A high EQ.
- Organisational transformation experience, including organisational design and structural, cultural, and technological change.
- A collaborative and inclusive orientation for the delivery of BAU activities, and meaningful HR team-membership.
- Organisational and personal resilience.
