Our Aon New Zealand Cyber Practice is currently seeking an experienced, professional and consultative broker with a passion and detailed understanding of technology to join its growing team in the critical role of Cyber Broker (Account Manager).
You will be working closely with the National Cyber Practice Leader and other key partners to deliver outstanding Cyber Insurance risk transfer solutions across a portfolio of Global & Corporate, Commercial and SME accounts. **What the day will look like**
- Working with the Corporate, Speciality and Commercial service teams to deliver the best possible outcome for Aon’s clients with a focus on client retention, revenue generation and the delivery of the full range of Aon services
- Maintaining strategic relationships with insurance carrier partners in all key markets and effectively negotiating appropriate risk transfer solutions based on individual client risk profile
- Monitor and review of regulatory and case law developments and participation in the production of client advisory white papers
- Participation in business development opportunities, including policy wording health-checks, technical and claims commentary in tenders and involvement in new business presentations
- Advocating for clients in incident and claim scenarios, ensuring the full potential of risk transfer solutions are realised.
- Taking ownership of key placement outcomes to build quality insights to assist clients and colleagues to make better decisions.
**Skills and experience that will lead to success**
- A broad understanding of technology with a passion to develop a career in the wider industry.
- Strong technical competencies (for critical analysis of key documentation).
- General understanding of insurance products and risk solutions. Proven experience and understanding of Cyber Risk Insurance is preferrable, but not a must.
- Take ownership and accountability for development and execution of relationships with a range of partners both internal and external.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
