MAS is a New Zealand-owned insurance and investment company that's been enhancing the financial health and wellbeing of our Members since 1921. We offer a range of insurance and investment options to help grow our Members' wealth and protect what's important to them.
We have 2 exciting fixed-term contract opportunities (11-months and 6 months) due to internal secondments. These roles will ideally be based in our Wellington office on a hybrid basis, however we are open to people working remotely anywhere in the country. Our roles are an opportunity to join a super supportive team that have that care factor for each other. You'll also have the chance to make a difference in pivotal moments in people's lives by providing exceptional care and advice.
**Please note, there will be **an initial** training period of **4** weeks which will be full-time, **9:00am to 5:00pm.** **You** will need to be able to commit to this if you are successfully hired. **After training**, **we have a variety of full-time shifts Monday to Friday between 8am and 5:30pm.**
**What a day in the role might look like**
- Giving accurate and timely advice to our Members about their general insurance claims and setting expectations on the process.
- Engaging with suppliers and repairs to ensure the Members' claim is resolved in a timely manner.
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy when gathering and processing information.
- Supporting our wider claims team with lodging e-claims.

- A genuine desire to help others and drive to go the extra mile for Member satisfaction.
- Patience, empathy, and a people centric approach.
- Good situational judgement, the ability to adjust your approach to meet the needs of different Member scenarios.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and effectively under pressure.
- Great time management, organisational skills and resilience are also super important to be successful in this role.
