Line Service Technician

**POSITON SUMMARY**
**As a Line Service Technician you will**:
- Ensure machinery is running efficiently and is maintained to standard.
- Be able to operate and competently troubleshoot machinery stoppages to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve machine and safety efficiencies.
- Be able to undertake fabrication works when required.
- Fault diagnosing
- Basic electrical equipment replacements
- Helps track maintenance schedules, analyse trends, and make informed decisions about equipment replacement or upgrades.
- Conducting safety inspections and implementing protocols.
**To be successful in this role you must be**:
- A driven individual that will strive for manufacturing excellence.
- NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, preferrably with an EST qualification.
- An excellent communicator with outstanding collaboration skills.
- Focused on Health and Safety (H&S) and continually seeking to improve ways of working.
- Experiences in a food manufacturing industry will be highly regarded.
- Ability to access PLC and fault find is a BONUS.
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software systems.
- You must be resilient and composed under pressure.
