**Tēnei tūranga - About the Role**:
The Senior Advisor is responsible for leading initiatives and engagement to inform the strategic direction and operations of the branch. The role provides strategic and operational advice including analysis of complex issues, and collaborates with others to develop performance metrics and key insights based on input from across the Group.

Bring your understanding of business operations, your relationship management skills, and your individual perspective to work across Digital Data and Insights (DDI) and MBIE and support the objectives of the Planning & Performance Team and the wider Planning, Risk, and Assurance Branch.

- Demonstrate experience in the development of managing and monitoring programmes or work within a complex environment

- Have a strong understanding of the processes that underpin the operations of the public sector environment, including parliamentary processes, and machinery of government
- Have the ability to quickly assimilate new information at a high level, and come to an understanding of unfamiliar and complex issues
- Have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field or comparable experience working in business advisory and support role
- Possess the ability to quickly establish and build strong working relationships
