Here, at Small Business Services (SBS), our people work as a collective. With an operating model that is centred around team members who work interchangeably across all functions of our service delivery model, our people are champions of collaboration and agility.

As the Senior Advisor Operations, you play a key role in the SBS cohort by ensuring we (SBS) are able to effectively support and deliver our services to Aotearoa’s small businesses through our digital channels. In this position, you will be responsible for liaising internally across the team and with external partners to ensure business needs are met and sites are online and up to date. You will be required to perform stack management of the business.govt.nz tools and Small Business Services sites, ensuring accessibility requirements are met and that they are fit-for-purpose.
- The Senior Advisor Operations is a highly collaborative role that works to provide robust advice across the work programme and ensures SBS develops and maintains high quality, innovative and user-centric practices. During the 12-month term of the role, the Senior Advisor Operations will also lead the review and redesign of the technical infrastructure and operational approach to support the Small Business Services sites.

**Skills and Experience Required**A high level of experience in machinery of government, process improvement, stakeholder consultation processes, and stakeholder relationship management.
-Proven experience in IT vendor management.
-Wide ranging knowledge of ICT frameworks for example but not limited to: ITIL, TOGAF, and Agile.
-Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
-Proven project management skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills across all organisational levels, demonstrating the confidence and gravitas needed to be a credible advisor to the Small Business Services team, senior leadership, and senior officials.
-Must have legal right to live and work in NZ.
