- **Pre-Match Ceremony Coordinator - Auckland**

**Job responsibilities**
- The Pre-Match Ceremonies Coordinator has the responsibility, under the guidance of the Events and Ceremonies Manager NZL and in close collaboration with the FIFA Zurich, for the successful delivery of the FIFA Women's World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023 which will see the world's best players compete for the greatest prize in women's football from 20 July to 20 August in 2023.**J**
**ob duties**
- Manage the sourcing, data collecting, documentation, accreditation process, catering requirements and all communication of the Pre-Match Ceremony participants.
- Create all training and induction materials, presentations, documentation for Ceremony workforce volunteers, Pre-Match Ceremony participants and other stadium Pre-Match Ceremony Coordinators (3x), as well as deliver their training to them on site.
- Plan and manage the offsite rehearsal efficiently to ensure all staff and Pre-Match Ceremony participants are fully informed and ready for technical rehearsals within all Aotearoa, New Zealand stadiums.
- Develop all the facilities required in all Aotearoa, New Zealand stadiums for Pre-Match Ceremonies areas including participant areas, CER office space, large banner storage, large banner folding areas, pre-set areas, pitch plans, access to pitch and share CER requirements with EVC Manager and onsite venue, pitch and technical managers and all effected LFS Functional Area staff.
- Arrange the acquiring, delivery and storage of all CER related materials including large banners, props, gifts, technical equipment, furniture, and ICT ensuring they have all arrived to site and are in working order.
- Budget and procure all CER related equipment and contracts with suppliers, Pre-Match Ceremony participants, additional catering, off site rehearsals, PA equipment, medical, transport and report to EVC manger regarding processing purchase requisitions and invoices according to FWWC2023 procurement procedures.
- Manage, schedule and delegate daily tasks to Ceremony workforce volunteers.
- Carry out various reports for working site visits, weekly tasks and general running of the ceremonies department and raise any concerns or issues.
- Attend meetings with EVC Manager, other Pre-Match Ceremony Coordinators from other stadiums, Pre-Match Ceremony supplier, Infotainment and with FIFA Zurich Special Events team in terms of planning, progress and issues.
- Maintain that the banners and protocol elements are taken care of, stored & folded correctly and in a good condition for delivery to other host cities after your last match. Report any issues or damage to EVC Manager NZL.

Tournament Time and Match Day responsibilities:

- Make sure all CER staff are briefed and everyone is in line with their responsibilities.
- Ensure the Pre-Match Ceremony participant area, walking paths, access and pitch tunnels are prepped and ready to receive participants.
- Make yourself available for any meetings with venue management regarding pitch so that everyone is aligned regarding pre-set of the banners pitch side and Match Day rehearsals with Youth Programme.
- Ensure you check in with Infotainment team, so they are aware and ready for pitch rehearsals and run throughs.
- Ensure all CER staff shifts and breaks are planned out according to rehearsals and countdown to kick off running orders according to the match manager.
