**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

Our Sector Digital Channels team are working to expand and improve the digital health landscape in Aotearoa. We are the digital transformation partners enabling modern technology solutions that improve the people and whānau experience through equitable access to varying models of care.

We are the change agent for national programmes and work with our customers and partners to enable equitable access through both digital self-service and assisted channels and to reduce pressure on the workforce through automation and integration. We are product focused and leverage modern platforms, technologies and ways of working to deliver quality, sustainable and cost-effective products and services.

We take pride in leading change that will provide equitable digital solutions for the health of Aotearoa.

**Mōu | About you**

The release team's main objective is to ensure a smooth and efficient release process that delivers high-quality software to the end-users or customers while minimizing disruptions and risks.

As Senior Release Manager, you work with delivery teams to manage risks and resolve challenges that impact release scope, quality, and schedules. You'll help to keep our environments operating efficiently and manage any issues relating to timing or data quality.

You will be immersed in creating a collaborative culture that facilitates nonstop delivery and deployment of software through efficient development processes. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our business plans and programs, while supporting our data and digital strategy.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience at Senior Release Management level.
- Exceptional planning and organisational experience.
- Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in managing suppliers and vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage teams in an environment of change, financial prudence and an increasing level of digital maturity across the organisation.
- Sound delivery experience across a range of delivery styles including experience with agile team facilitation, matrix model delivery and product teams.
- Ability to develop and implement effective release management processes; Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience in large scale complex deployments.
- Knowledge of and experience in a Dev Ops environment.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Have an open, collaborative approach that encourages ongoing learning and knowledge sharing.
