In the role of** Kia Ora te Whānau Programme Manager** you will lead and oversee Te Waka Kerewai projects that focus on the wellbeing of tamariki and their whānau. This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Kia Ora Tāmaki Makaurau, business plan initiatives, delivering tangible outcomes for Māori communities across Tāmaki Makaurau.

You’ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of key programmes, while driving systems change that improves whānau wellbeing in our libraries and community hubs.

**Purpose of this position**:
As Kia ora te whānau Programme Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee high-quality programme management for projects that promote Māori outcomes. This includes working closely with key stakeholders to deliver key business plan initiatives and projects, while ensuring these projects are successfully managed and contribute to the wellbeing of Māori communities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the planning and delivery of the Kia Ora te Whānau work programme across the department, ensuring alignment with Māori outcomes.
- Provide leadership for key projects such as the Kia Ora te Whānau hubs, driving systems change that improves whānau wellbeing in community hubs and libraries.
- Raise visibility of the Kia Ora te Whānau work programme, embedding a clear understanding of priorities, goals, and outcomes across the department.
- Work collaboratively with teams across the Community Wellbeing department to deliver integrated responses for Māori communities.
- Oversee contract development, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

You are an experienced and strategic Programme Manager with a proven track record of delivering positive outcomes for Māori communities. With a deep understanding of te reo Māori and tikanga Māori, you have the ability to influence and inspire senior stakeholders, leading initiatives that create meaningful change. Your strategic thinking, allows you to navigate complex projects effectively. Your leadership is guided by kaupapa Māori principles, uniting people around a shared vision and driving impactful, sustainable outcomes that advance the wellbeing and aspirations of Māori whānau and communities
