- This is a key role in supporting the Marketing Manager - Farm Source Brand and Co-op Connection to implement brand strategies for Farm Source including brand positioning, messaging and content production, and target audience segmentation that effectively communicates our brand propositions for both Fonterra and Farm Source.This role will focus on building and executing our brand content and social strategy, including creating content plans and executing them across multiple touch points including digital, print, and social media. You will assist in ensuring that all marketing communications and promotional activity effectively and impactfully communicates our key messages, tells our story and reinforces our value propositions, whilst delivering results that help build positive farmer engagement within Farm Source and the Co-op.Key responsibilities will include:
- Own the production of the Farm Source Enrich newsfeed communication plan and subsequent content.
- Support the Farm Source Brand Strategy Check project that will help define the strategic direction and execution plan for the Farm Source brand.
- Monitoring and analysing the brand performance metrics, track market trends, propose necessary adjustments to brand strategies and identify opportunities.
- Manage the Digital Asset Management system, ensuring that Farm Source Marketing assets are under control, locatable and updated. Coordinate with users of the assets for access and sourcing.
- Manage Corporate identity materials, information, data, logo’s, guidelines etc for use with all stakeholders

- You must be highly organised, proactive, bring second-to-none communication skills and an ability to effectively engage with people from all parts of the industry. You will need to be resilient, able to negotiate tricky situations and stakeholders, and have excellent attention to detail. Naturally curious and passionate about the agriculture space, your customer focused approach and ability to build rapport quickly will help you succeed in this rewarding role.Other key requirements include:
- A tertiary qualification in Communications, brand or marketing strategy
- A minimum of one year experience in brand management, preferably in the Rural sector
- Results driven with a proven track record of assisting in developing and executing successful brand strategies and marketing plans.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
