We are currently looking to fill a Fixed Term opportunity for an experienced Remuneration Advisor to join our compensation and benefits team at Te Whatu Ora. This is a parental leave cover position for 6 months.

The role works closely with a range of stakeholders across the group to understand their needs and develop solutions. You will be advising our line managers on remuneration solutions for our staff. Including queries on step placement, allowances and other general remuneration queries. You will also have an opportunity to provide advice and support to our national remuneration team through job sizing exercises and other support.

You'll work closely with the Head of Employment Relations, Compensation and Benefits - Waitaha, providing critical remuneration advice.

You know how to operate within a complex, fast paced and ever-changing environment and can use your expert communication and influencing skills to bring clarity and alignment. You love a challenge, keep calm under pressure, have a curious mindset and can work collaboratively to balance shared deliverables and personal accountability.

**This role requires the following skills**:

- Significant experience in a similar role in a multi-entity, complex, and geographically distributed organisation
- Excellent consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience supporting senior leaders across multiple locations
- You love a challenge, keep calm under pressure, have a curious mindset and can work collaboratively to balance shared deliverables and personal accountability.

**Desired Experience**:

- Bachelors Degree in Business, Commerce or Human Resources or similar (Similar experience without degree also considered);
- Desirable Experience in a Remuneration function in a large organisation; Experience with process design; Understanding of New Zealand Employment Legislation and Compliance;
- Experience in multi-employer collective environments.
