We are constructing the Tauhara Geothermal project, a 168 MW geothermal plant, New Zealand’s most significant renewable investment, which will incorporate the world’s largest geothermal steam turbine. This is only the first part of a broader pipeline of geothermal projects which will likely involve further investments on the Tauhara field and ensure ongoing generation from the Wairakei Geothermal Field, so we are not short of exciting, market leading renewable projects for you to get involved in.

**Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the role**

Reporting into Lauren the Head of Major Project Procurement and Contracts, you will be the star behind the production, ensuring that various contracts lifecycles that have been awarded flow as smooth as possible

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team building Aotearoa’s next lot of renewable power stations, that will keep the lights on for Kiwi’s for generations to come (If that’s not a great work story I don’t know what is..)

The type of contracts you will be looking after primarily to the ‘steamfield’ construction works which include cross-country pipelines, wellpad works, separation plant, SGW pumps and other associated systems.

**To support the lifecycle of these contracts some of your day to day mahi will involve**:

- Assist the Project Managers and Engineering Team with drafting, collating and issuing of procurement and works contracts throughout the project.
- Be involved in the analysis of cost and variation claims, including impact on adjacent works and overall integrated project schedule for several of the Steamfield construction contracts.
- Support the Project Manager, Construction Managers, and Project Controls team to control costs, schedule, and quality.
- Provide regular reporting against key milestones, costs and risk issues as required.
- Maintain the project Contract Register.
- Maintain project documentation in our Aconex and SharePoint file storage areas.

**What you’ve done**:

- Large scale, extensive construction, and contract management experience in a complex environment, preferably in the power generation and ideally geothermal sector.
- Administering a variety of contract types including fixed price, cost reimbursable, and target cost.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including strengths in influencing, conflict management and negotiation.
- Renowned communicator with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of audiences both verbally and written.
- Experience in working with teams of technical project/programme professionals with a keen interest in developing people.
