**About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality and Compliance Manager to join our team managing the Transpower contract. In this role you will be leading the quality and compliance objectives to ensure we are delivering on the required KPIs, Administrative Performance Requirements, Management Plans and assurance activities.
You will be responsible for ensuring all processes and outcomes related to the construction and maintenance of the client’s energy network comply with relevant regulations and client and Downer standards.
The role involves driving a culture of continuous improvement identifying opportunities for operational efficiency, cost reduction, and enhanced service delivery by leading improvement initiatives, implementation of best practices and innovative approaches to achieve excellence and customer satisfaction.
You will also Investigate and report on safety and quality incidents and recommend improvements, acting as the key liaison with the client in regards to quality matters.
With depots across the Central North Island, this role could be based in Taupo, Palmerston North or Stratford.

- Degree qualified or equivalent experience in Quality Management
- Auditor Diploma to AS/NZS9001, AS/NZS 45001 & AS/NZS14001
- Minimum 5 years-experience as a Lead Auditor across ISO 9001, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles, methodologies, and tools such as ISO standards, Lean Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in leading quality improvement projects and initiatives, including change management and stakeholder engagement.Leadership abilities, with the capability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve quality objectives and drive continuous improvement.
