We have a 12-month fixed term opportunity for a Principal Advisor to join our Implementation team.
In this role you'll be responsible for providing strategic advice on the impacts of policy or legislative change proposals, you'll help with delivering key projects across the team, and you'll have your finger on the pulse of impending law changes to help manage the team's diverse work programme.
You'll have strong analytical skills, well developed communication skills, and the ability to interpret complex documents (including legislation or policy) into plain language. You'll also have strong networking or relationship management skills to represent the team across the different parts of our business.

He pūkenga tou/Skills and Experience
We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

- strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- experience communicating with a wide range of audiences, including strong written and verbal communication skills
- comfortable working with ambiguity and can bring structure to complex issues
- strong relationship management and networking skills
- understanding of public sector systems and processes, including the machinery of government and the legislative process.

Front-line, operational experience within courts, tribunals, or other justice services would be an advantage.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $124,397 and $173,973 based on skills and experience.
