We are looking for an experienced Purchasing System Support Administrator to support the purchasing team and wider business with end to end purchasing activities, with a focus on supporting our internal and external stakeholders/suppliers. This is a fixed term 8-9-month role working for a large well known and respected organisation, with an immediate start.

**About the role - Atu mo te mahi**
Reporting into the Purchasing Manager, you will have a good understanding and knowledge of purchasing systems to be able to assist with the end-to-end process, training, and reporting/analysis. You will be responsible for the internal business support of stakeholders and users, improve supplier performance by good relationship management of suppliers and effective systems management to ensure all purchasing processes are supported.

**Key tasks and accountabilities**:

- Content development & management to ensure efficient and accurate processes
- Single point for suppliers to engage with including onboarding and continued support
- Ownership of the purchasing behaviour across the business
- Continuous improvement activities for more streamlined and efficient methods
- Provide support across all levels of the business on systems and processes
- Maintain measurable purchasing performance metrics that identify opportunities
- Analysis and reporting using Power BI

- Proven purchasing/office/operations administration/management experience
- Understanding/knowledge using Power BI
- Proven experience working within a large organisation
- System Savvy and a quick learner with high attention to detail
- Customer focused, ability to provide a high standard of customer service
- Problem solver with the ability to make decisions independently and follow through with action
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and focuses on team learning and growth
- Ability to juggle and work to deadlines in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to know when to escalate and clearly communicate when required
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Confident and approachable with the ability to train others
