**The Role**

Our Operations team is embarking on an exciting transformation journey, and we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Purchasing Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team. In this role you’ll work closely with Production Planners, Demand Planners and other stakeholders to manage orders and deliveries of products and services from suppliers into the supply chain. On a day-to-day basis you’ll be:

- Liaising between suppliers and Gallagher stakeholders
- Responsible for order and delivery management
- Generating forecasts and data analysis
- Managing and maintaining data using SAP Master Data and Power BI
- Reviewing and improving how GGL systems, processes and procedures can meet purchasing and operational objectives
- Providing administration support.

**The Fit**

To excel in this role, you’ll have at least five years of relevant experience with strong system knowledge. Ideally you’ll come from a manufacturing background with experience using integrated computer systems. You’ll also have:

- The ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Competency in the use of MS Word and Excel
- The ability to process a number of tasks efficiently and prioritise under tight deadlines
- Proven problem solving and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of ERP systems, ideally with experience in SAP.
