We have a vacancy for a **Digital Infrastructure Technical Lead **to join our Digital Technology team, based in our offices in Mechanics Bay.

**ABOUT THE ROLE | Te tūranga mahi**

**Responsibilities**:

- Produce infrastructure technical designs aligning with POAL's technical strategy and market developments.
- Provide input into BAU activities, best practices, and the development of Digital Infrastructure Strategy, roadmaps, and standards.
- Enhance POAL disaster recovery practices.
- Act as the main contact for POAL business units, offering information and advice on technology solutions to meet their needs.
- Take ownership of overall Infrastructure design aspects of assigned projects.
- Ensure standard solutions comply with strategy and policy.

**ABOUT YOU | Ko wai koe**
- Minimum 5 years of relevant field experience.
- Proficient in software such as Nutanix, Azure Cloud, VMWare, Active Directory, MS Server, Networking, and Dell Storage.
- Background in platform engineering within a medium to large complex organisation.
- Demonstrated infrastructure capacity planning experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of current Windows/Linux server and platform technologies.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and training documentation.
- Proven SQL Database architecture design skills.
- Track record of effective problem-solving skills.
- Experience in developing and supporting large corporate systems.
- Expertise in infrastructure design best practices and data security.
- Proven expertise in designing, building, and configuring Azure components.
- Ability to provide detailed infrastructure designs adhering to industry best practices for solutions hosted in Public/Private Cloud.

- Demonstrated experience with Asset Management.
- Demonstrated experience with Disaster Recovery capability and incident management processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, customer service, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of network products and services, data center software, and hardware in the market.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Experience in infrastructure design governance and execution.
