**What You'll Be Doing | Mō te Tūranga**

Bring your technical expertise and leadership to ensure the successful execution of infrastructure engineering projects and activities.
- Contribute to project planning, including defining technical tasks, estimating effort, and providing insights into technical feasibility.
- Take the lead in addressing complex technical issues and challenges. Provide guidance to the team in troubleshooting problems and identifying effective solutions.
- Help guide career development paths, offer constructive feedback, and support the growth of individual team members.
- Actively participate in infrastructure engineering and design tasks by setting infrastructure standards, review changes and contributions from team members, and ensure that the NZAA infrastructure adheres to best practices
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including design documents

**About You | Mōu**

To be successful in this role, you will have
- Proven track record of effectively leading and developing teams of IT professionals
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic IT plans aligned with overall business goals
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and experience implementing and maintaining IT governance frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT)
- Track record of evaluating emerging technologies and assessing their potential impact on the organisation
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including proficiency in infrastructure as code and networks, particularly experienced with platforms such as Azure, AWS, Cisco Meraki, and Fortinet.
