The Commerical Account Manager has a remit to acquire new business logos and drive growth and retention of commercial accounts within the New Zealand territory in Mimecast ANZ. This is a rich part of the New Zealand market, and a space where cloud computing (SaaS) is becoming ever more prevalent and as such the Mimecast proposition resonates well. Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration in the commercial segment.

As a partner centric organization, Mimecast’s Commercial AM will be well supported by a strong team as well as our loyal partner community to build a pipeline of incremental business opportunities which grow our base customer revenue. Experience in delivering innovative partner business plans and ensuring their success will be very well received.

**Requirements**:
It is critical to be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory plan and consistently deliver on monthly and quarterly revenue and retention targets.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Achievement of monthly / quarterly / annual new, upsell and renewal business targets
- Work closely with Channel Partners to drive incramental business and support their requirements from the partnership
- Develop and execute against sales activity plan in order to achieve the agreed targets
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Business Administration -manage the reporting of the KPI’s* and general CRM housekeeping
- Sign up to and execute against a set of end to end sales methodology and processes
- Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information
- Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development
- Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills
Proven sales achievement against target
- Ideally with experience of both Direct & In-Direct sales roles.
- Proven success in New Zealand / Australian Market
- Understanding of solution selling and/or Challenger Sales methodology
- Understanding of Corporate IT teams and their buying processes
