Te whiwhinga mahi/The Opportunity
The Senior Programme Scheduler will provide advice and support to the Director, Te Au Reka Programme Management and Investment, and wider Te Au Reka team, by monitoring progress, raising issues, supporting programme management activities, and reporting on overall activities related to programme development, progress and execution. Additionally, you will be an advocate for planning and scheduling best practices to improve programme performance. This role is responsible for developing, managing and reporting on the Te Au Reka Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). You will lead the development of the resourced IMS and play a pivotal role in collaborating with the suppliers to ensure that the Programme is on track at every stage.
To work effectively in this role, you will need to adopt a flexible approach to manage a high volume of activity in a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent risk and issue management skills, and a solid understanding of project and programme management methodologies.

**To be successful in this position you will have**:

- Proven experience with stakeholder management - being a conduit between the Te Au Reka Programme workstreams and the suppliers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, and an ability to manage multiple tasks
- The ability to understand project scope, project schedule objectives and developing / maintaining various schedule requirements
- A high level of computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio), or other project tools
- The ability to successfully influence and guide a programme workstream, including the coordination of team members, consultants and the vendor to achieve successful and timely outcomes
- A willingness to be a team player, and to contribute to delivering Programme outcomes of a high standard

Utu ā-tau/Salary

**Salary Range**: The appointing salary for this role is between $107,540 and $150,174 based on skills and experience.
