**What you'll do**:
In this new Senior Advisor role you will be responsible for providing quality insights, leadership and advice on our Environmental Sustainability and Health & Safety Reporting, as well as working collaboratively with our Senior Advisor Workforce Analytics and Reporting, to ensure that we have great reporting, analytics and insights across these key areas of our organisation.

**What we're looking for**:
As this is a new role for Maritime NZ, we need someone who is keen to roll their sleeves up, and get to grips with the current state and ample opportunities and then work with others to implement. You won't be on your own, you'll need to connect and work with a bunch of passionate people who are all keen to take us to the next level, so your collaboration and engagement style will really come to the fore.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;
- Advanced MS Excel skills including the ability to link data from various sources, create pivot tables and charts, and create complex formulae;
- Solid knowledge of business intelligence tools and data warehouse concepts;
- Excellent numerical, business writing and oral communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate technical information;
- a continuous improvement mindset and a knack for identifying data quality improvement through systematic assessment, recommendations for improvement and implementation;
- self-starting and capable of delivering relevant, informative and insightful information
- Ability to work in a culturally safe and respectful manner, always being mindful of the cultural diversity of the industry and having regard to Te Ao Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.
