**He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role**

Provide support from within our Emergency Housing service by focusing on housing and connecting whānau within the community. You will be guiding tenants through the Ministry of Social Development system, and health and education services.

Ideally, you will have experience working within the mental health sector and be linked with agencies throughout the Rotorua community to support whānau for the best outcome possible.

We have multiple permanent full-time positions available, working Monday to Friday.

Duties of the role could include:

- Coordinating with your colleagues to support whānau through their journey and achieve their goals
- Supporting whānau with their goals and daily tasks
- Liaising and researching other appropriate organisations in the community
- Conducting and writing assessments and support letters
- Responding to urgent matters and ensuring safety concerns are addressed
- Providing support at meetings

- Level 4 or 5 qualification in Mental Health and Addiction or Social Services (desirable)
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Be culturally responsive and non-judgemental
